Think Confidently Succeed Academically Thrive Holistically
Because when students develop confidence, strategies, and balance, they succeed in school. And more importantly, they excel in life.
Student Success Advising
Every student is a unique individual with their own interests, strengths, and specific needs.
Student Success Advising offers a highly personalized approach to help students learn to empower themselves both academically and personally.
Through one-on-one mentoring, students develop skills and strategies that enable them to thrive today and prepare for future opportunities and challenges.
Parents also receive guidance and strategies to support their student’s success while reinforcing the value of self-advocacy and autonomy.
Unlike traditional tutoring, which focuses only on subject content, Student Success Advising emphasizes positive growth over time.
Students explore the best approaches to:
Become critical and independent thinkers
Hone foundational skills for academic achievements
Set long-term goals for graduation and college admissions.
Students Learn To:
-
Students learn to embrace setbacks as part of the learning process. Challenges become opportunities to develop problem-solving skills and resilience.
-
Students learn to develop their unique interests and apply them in meaningful ways.
-
Students define and achieve what success truly means for them while building the confidence, balance, and connections that lead to happiness and meaningful involvement in school and life.
Meet Jennifer Pool, MAT
With over twenty-five years of experience dedicated to tutoring and mentoring students in Portland, Oregon, I have proudly helped students succeed both academically and personally.

I have learned from years of working with students and parents that those who commit to a long-term relationship achieve the most meaningful success.
Consistent commitment builds a strong foundation for trust, accountability, and progress.
With my guidance, students practice and incorporate valuable skills they will use throughout their education and into the rest of their lives.
We focus on progress along the way while also working toward long-term goals, including college admissions and readiness for success in the future
In order to provide dedicated support, I work with a limited number of students and parents each year on an ongoing basis.
I begin working with students as early as elementary school and through college. My expectation is that I will work with families for at least one school year.
I also offer private sessions for parents who want individualized support and help with decisions
